What changes
Every line costed and marked up
Type the cost, set the markup and the sell price follows. Change the price and the markup follows.
Your supplier's prices in one import
Import their price list, check what changes, and any price you set by hand stays unless you say.
Quote the usual in one go
Group the items you always quote together once, then add them to any quote with their costs.
The accepted quote becomes the budget
Its costs become the job's budget, and Work in Progress shows quoted margin against actual.
Where it pays
A stair builder sees a 12% margin before sending, and fixes the price first.
A renovator imports a merchant price list and every new quote is costed.
An electrician quotes a switchboard upgrade from one assembly in seconds.
Questions
Before you ask.
Can my customer see my costs?
Never. Costs are kept apart from the quote, so the PDF, emails and the portal show only your prices.
Can I bring in my supplier's price list?
Yes. Import their CSV, match the columns, check the preview, then import.
Who on my team sees margins?
Only people whose role can see job costs. Everyone else quotes as before.
What stops a low-margin quote going out?
Set a margin floor. A quote under it waits for an approver before it is sent.
