What changes
Priced from the quote they accepted
Raise it on the job and price it in the same builder, taking off anything no longer needed.
Approved and signed before you start
Your customer reads the change on their phone, ticks, signs and approves. Nothing rests on a handshake.
The contract keeps up by itself
The original value, every approved change and the revised total, on the job and in your reports.
Nothing to argue about at the end
Each approved change is on the record, dated and in the job's value, so the final invoice holds no surprises.
Where it pays
A renovator's client adds a skylight mid-job and signs for it that night.
An electrician prices two extra circuits on site and gets a yes before rough-in.
A landscaper swaps turf for paving, and the contract value moves with it.
Questions
Before you ask.
Can my customer approve on their phone?
Yes. They open the link or their portal, read the change, then type their name, tick and sign.
What if they agree on site?
Approve it for them and record who agreed and how. It is all on the job's timeline.
Can a variation take money off?
Yes. A line with a minus price is a credit, and the contract comes down with it.
Can customers ask for a change themselves?
Yes. On a quote they have accepted, they ask for a change, and you get it to price and send back.
What about the extra days?
Each variation states the days it adds. Once it is approved, you choose which bookings move.
