Finding your way around Settings

Settings is ordered by how often you use each part, starting with Automations and Templates. Your own settings are on My profile.

The nine categories

  1. 1.Automations: your rules, the built-in messages, what is coming up and what has gone out.
  2. 2.Templates: Quotes (terms and conditions, quote wording and layout), Invoices, Other documents, Emails, Texts and Signatures.
  3. 3.Invoicing & Numbering: Numbering, Quotes (approval), Invoices (approval, payment terms and terms by client type), Tax, and Getting paid (your bank details).
  4. 4.Team: People, Roles and permissions, Sensitive labels and Sign-in rules.
  5. 5.Business: Company profile (including your travel base), Branding, and Availability and booking.
  6. 6.Workflow: Streams and Client stages. Job types come from your quote presets.
  7. 7.Messaging: Sending rules, Email setup and Text sender.
  8. 8.Integrations & Add-ons: accounting, customer payments, email, texts, your website and calendar feeds, the add-ons, plus Data import.
  9. 9.Account: Plan and billing, Data and privacy, and About.

Your own settings

Settings that belong to you rather than the business are on My profile. Open the menu under your name at the top right and choose My profile and settings for your password, two-step sign-in, your email signature, your forwarding address and your calendar feed.

Search instead of browsing

The search in the top bar understands everyday words, not just menu names. Try typing what you want to do, for example public holidays, gst or who can see invoices, and it will point you at the right setting or page.

Old links and bookmarks to Settings pages still work and open the matching page.

Who can see Settings

Settings is permission-controlled. Owners have it all; employees generally do not see it. Access is adjustable per role under Team, then Roles and permissions.
