Two-factor authentication

Add a second check at sign-in so a stolen password alone cannot open your account.

What it is

Two-factor authentication (2FA) asks for a short code as well as your password when you sign in. Your business data, client list and invoices live in this account; 2FA is the single best thing you can do to protect them. VexOp will nudge you to set it up until you have.

Turn it on

  1. 1.Open the menu under your name at the top right, choose My profile and settings, then go to Sign-in and security. Everyone in the team can do this.
  2. 2.Choose an authenticator app (recommended) or text messages.
  3. 3.For an app: scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, then enter the six digit code to confirm.
  4. 4.For text messages: enter your Australian mobile, then the six digit code VexOp+ texts you.

Signing in afterwards

You enter your password, then the current code from your app or SMS. It adds a few seconds, once per device, in exchange for an account that a leaked password cannot open.

Lost your phone?

There are no backup codes. Contact VexOp through the Partner Hub from a signed-in owner account, or via the contact page. The team will check who you are, then reset two-step verification so you can sign in and set it up again.
